Chi Nguyen

Chi is a graphic communications professional who was initially educated as an architect. Her work and interests draw links between the fields of visual communication and spatial practice.

Chi holds a Master of Arts (Distinction) in Communication Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London UK, and a Bachelor in Architectural Studies from Carleton University. She has additional training in art, technology, and new media design from Sheridan College, OCAD University, and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

With eight years of practice, Chi has led the marketing, branding, and communications efforts of some of Canada’s leading architecture studios, including the RAIC’s 2016 architectural firm of the year, MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects.

She is a published writer, most recently co-authoring an article in the forthcoming publication, Engaged Urbanism, Cities & Methodologies, from Ashgate Publishing and the Bartlett School of Architecture. Her design work has been exhibited at the Lethaby Gallery and Somerset House in London UK, and at the Bi-City Hong Kong–Shenzhen Biennale on Architecture and Urbanism in China.
