Description

The design for an Innovation, Creativity and Culinary Co-Working Hub will support community entrepreneurs in the City of Port Colborne. Located in the Roselawn Centre, a city-owned cultural heritage building, the hub offers shared working spaces that serve businesses and entrepreneurs specializing in creative and culinary fields.

Central to the design of this incubator is access to shared services, work space, and equipment. The Hub will provide management assistance, support services, networking resources, and financial advice to its users in an open work area which encourages business connections. The design supports the development of a shared commercial kitchen that uniquely offers food processors and businesses with an accessible facility to support the growth and commercialization of food products.

It is anticipated that the Hub will support new business development and commercialization within the region, functioning as a collaborative and self-sustaining work space that extends support across local sectors.
