Description

The “Cube” Café is an initiative by the University of Toronto Ancillary & Food Services to offer St.George campus students healthy food with warm and cold food options. The new food outlet is nestled on the ground floor of the Bahen Centre for Information Technology. We worked closely with Ancillary & Food Services to develop the brand of the café to reflect the University’s commitment to nurturing students healthy eating habits.

With a mixture of table seating and bar seating, the Cube provides students with a casual dining area and an informal gathering place for lounging or studying. The renovated space — featuring new millwork, lighting fixtures, and furniture — is an open, modern environment with a comfortable feel that suits the nature of the Bahen Centre as a place of innovative engineers. Large, full height windows give students a privileged view onto the campus, while brining in abundant natural light.
