Description

The interior renovation provides offices and open workspaces for Arts Research Collaboratory (ARC), an interdisciplinary research group that brings together Toronto Metropolitan University’s Arts faculty.

Perimeter offices wrap around a centralized meeting and collaboration area. Full height glazing offers visual connection to other offices and the central space. Transparency allows for an openness in line with the spirit of collaboration, while functionally maintaining privacy for administrative work.

Graphic film, geometric seating, and subtle blue walls add a colourful punch to accentuate the light wood and white office setting. The half wall dividing the room serves multi-uses: to facilitate plug-and-play media interactions on one side and to provide storage space on the other.
