Introducing the newly completed Conestoga College Cowan Centre for Medical Sciences & Biotechnology project! Tailored for the Health Sciences Bachelor of Applied Biotechnology and Medical Laboratory Science Programs at Conestoga College’s Doon Campus in Kitchener, this centre revitalizes traditional academic classrooms into cutting-edge laboratories for pioneering research.

The design was meticulously crafted to meet rigorous technical specifications while aligning with Conestoga College’s mission to showcase scientific advancements. Our team conceived vibrant showcase labs, illuminating the groundbreaking research in progress. Leveraging glazed openings, we seamlessly integrated visibility into the labs and panoramic views of the surrounding woodlot. This design approach yielded luminous, colourful research spaces, diverging from conventional laboratory aesthetics, and fostering an environment where research is both showcased and celebrated.
