Ryerson AIAS 2017 Popularize & Firm Crawl

Ryerson AIAS 2017 Popularize & Firm Crawl

We hosted Ryerson University Architectural Science students today at our studio, in support of the 2017 Architecture Firm Crawl. Firm Crawl is an adjacent activity to the main Popularize speaker event that introduces students to the local architectural community; in which our co-founder Philip Hastings gave a presentation on his work, practice, and journey to success. Supplementing Philip’s talk, we opened our doors to to expose students to a professional design environment and studio culture. In addition to touring our 2-storey building and workspaces, students had the opportunity to view projects at various stages of development and interact directly with staff, including recent graduates, who provided insights on potential career paths.

Our office strongly believes in nurturing the development of the next generation of architects and designers, and are always happy for the opportunity to connect with future designers, interns architects, and thesis students. Many thanks to Rachel Luu and the team at the American Institute of Architecture Students Ryerson Chapter for the invitation!
