As a dedicated alumna, community member and design consultant at TMU, Valerie has provided advice, mentorship, scholarships, and awards for the School of Interior Design (SID) students. She generously shares her industry expertise, inspiring students with stories of her career path, and she provides expertise as a portfolio and thesis project critic.
Valerie is also a long-time volunteer of the Department of Architectural Science (DAS), acting as guest speaker at the high-profile Women in Architecture events, and as a mentor during mock interviews, portfolio reviews, studio reviews, and other outreach activities.
