In downtown Toronto, the University of Ontario resides in a 50,000-square-foot mixed-use building, one of Canada's newest universities dedicated to French-language education. Throughout the second floor, a fit-out renovation introduces a vision for academic design that encourages flexible student-faculty interaction, transforming this space into a community of learning. A Métis graffiti artist painted a mural above the grand entryway to accentuate the dramatic 60-foot escalator inclining up to the campus.
