New Staff (and Mascot) Join Gow Hastings

Our office has grown! Since the new year, we have welcomed several new staff.

Rebecca Wei comes to us from Taylor Smyth Architects, and is a project architect with over 10 years of experience that includes award-winning projects such as House on the Bluffs in Scarborough. Rebecca received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in architecture from McGill University, and brings with her demonstrable strengths in design, detailing, and project management.

Dagmar Szijgyarto now leads our marketing and business development efforts as our new Marketing Manager. Dagmar previously played a similar role at Urbacon and Zeidler Partnership Architects, and is helping us run a tight ship with a view to growing the practice in significant ways. Both Rebecca and Dagmar are proud Toronto Eastenders working hard to tip the scale of our studio's East-West rivalry!

Rounding out the group, Katherine Krolak and Sugandh Gupta brings new energy to the studio as our latest co-op students providing architectural assistance to project teams. Katherine is currently completing her undergraduate degree in architecture from Ryerson University while Sugandh is in the final year of her studies at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture.

Last but not least, the most anticipated addition to the Gow Hastings family is Pepper the Golden Doodle!
